Gas sterilizer, also called ETO sterilizer is a medical device that uses low temperature, humidity and gas to sterilize medical products, such as stents, wound care dressings, catheters, etc. There is no use of heat, radiation or moisture in the vacuum based process. All products sterilized through this device achieve the necessary sterility assurance level. The other feature that plays a critical role in the process is the exposure time, which can be between one to six hours. The sterilization can be achieved quickly by raising the temperature and gas concentration.
